Four brothers made Australian Rules history on 1 September 1990 when they played together for the Essendon Football Club. Those four brothers and their team were victorious against St Kilda that day, winning by 35 points.
The Age's Greg Baum says - "The Daniher brothers are footy’s greatest bumper crop, between them playing 752 premium quality games spanning more than two decades. But only once did they appear all together. It remains the only instance of four brothers-in-arms in a VFL/AFL match."
In 2016, Regal Trading Cards sought to honor one of football’s famous families. This limited-edition trading card features signatures of the four Daniher Brothers – Terry, Neale, Chris and Anthony. With only 75 individually-numbered cards produced, these jumbo-sized cards are a significant addition to any sporting memorabilia collection.
